Mr. Lovette Luke better known as “Cookie” was born September 27, 1960 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Thomas Luke and Christina G. Luke. Early Monday morning, August 12, 2024, he departed his earthly body to be present with the Lord.

Lovette “Cookie” was baptized at Faith Memorial Baptist Church at an early age.

He was a graduate from Harding University High School located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Lovette was employed with NAPA on Providence Road in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to his employment with NAPA, he worked as a cook for various restaurants.

Cookie has always loved helping people. He enjoyed doing lawn care work, but most of all, he loved his dogs. His favorite breed was the pit bull.

Lovette was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Annetta Luke.

Left to cherish his beautiful memories: His mother, Christina G. Luke of Charlotte, North Carolina; one brother, Gary Luke of Charlotte, North Carolina;two sons, Maurice Falls of Florida; and Amarion Luke of Charlotte, North Carolina; two daughters, Shamonda Falls and Ayden Christina Luke, both of Charlotte, North Carolina; two granddaughters, Ty’Asia Falls and Imani Falls, both of Charlotte, North Carolina. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and aspecial friend, Alicia A. Lay.

Homegoing Celebration Services and Visitation services will be held on on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Kings Funeral Home-Chapel 4000 Beatties Ford Road Charlotte NC 28216 Times:Visitation 11:00 A.M -12:00 P.M. Homegoing Celebration Service will begin at 12:00 P.M. Burial will at Saint Luke Baptist Church Cemetery No 1 in Sharon, South Carolina.
