Funeral service for David Gunn, 69, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Thomas Brown will officiate.

Mr. Gunn, who passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born January 5, 1955, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Monday, August 26, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

His precious memories will forever be cherished by: three sisters, Mary Ann Gunn of Auburn, AL, Armuriel Gunn Dumas and Collage "Dale" Gunn Holloway both of Opelika, AL; one brother, Earnest (Bernice) Gunn, Jr. of Opelika, AL; one sister-in-law, Jacqueline Gunn of Opelika, AL; one brother-in-law, Morgan Burton of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
