Mr. William Ray Saunders, 86, of Radcliff, died Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Signature Health of Radcliff.

He was a member of First Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board. He was a member of HubCity Masonic Lodge and a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant having served his country for 25 years.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Etruela and Preston Sanders; five brothers, Preston Sanders, Bobby Saunders, James Saunders, Ernest Saunders and Geroge Saunders; two sisters, Isabell Anderson and Barbara Jean Sanders.

He is survived by his wife, Reola Saunders; two daughters, Tracy( Jordan)Fitzpatrick and Denise Saunders(Ken Henderson); two grandchildren, Ondia Butler and Phillip Fitzpatrick; two great grandchildren, Aneesa Tebo and Preston Tebo; two sisters, Ella McKinney and Drucilla Ingram; a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral is at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Elizabethtown with the Rev. Roderick Jones officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2024 at KY Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.

Visitation after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
