Annie Jordan, 95, passed on Monday, September 2, 2024 in Hurtsboro, AL.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Monday, September 9, 2024 at First Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Troy Clark, pastor officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Public viewing is 2:00-5:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Mrs. Annie Mae Jordan, the daughter of the late Mr. Henry and Eddie Lou Key, was born on April 26, 1929, in Russell County. Annie departed this life on Monday, September 2, 2024 at her home.

Annie confessed Christ at an early age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Hurtsboro, Alabama. Annie was a faithful member until her health began to fail. Annie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that enjoyed quilting, fishing, and cooking.

Annie was preceded in death by her loving husband Cassie B. Jordan; daughter Patricia Jordan; 2 sons James and Walter Jordan; granddaughter Ariel Smith; 1 brother Leon Key.

Annie leaves to cherish her memories 2 devoted and loving daughters Bettie Jordan and Jacqueline Jordan of Hurtsboro, Alabama; 7 devoted and loving sons Moses (Ruby) Jordan and Clarence Jordan both of Merrillville, Indiana, Claude (Ernestine) Jordan, William (Arlene) Jordan, Alonza Jordan of Hurtsboro, AL, Earnest (Gloria) Jordan of Birmingham, Alabama and Robert Jordan of Hurtsboro, Alabama. 1 sister Sarah Williams; 1 brother Henry (Charlene) Key of Gary, Indiana; 1 brother-in-law Rufus (Lillie) Jordan of Hurtsboro, Alabama; 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
