Funeral service for Carey Cochran, 59, of Salem, AL, will be at 12:00 noon (CST), Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, 205 Lee Road 193, Salem, Alabama 36874, Reverend Nelson Fears will officiate.

Mr. Cochran, who passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at St. Francis Emory Healthcare in Columbus, Georgia, was born January 24, 1965, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Cochran will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Cynthia Cochran of Salem, AL; a daughter, Tyeshia (Jarvis) Lott of Smith Station, AL; four grandchildren, Kel Lockhart, Azya Lockhart both of Auburn, AL, Zykeria Wilkerson and Baby Jhace Jerel Lott both of Smith Station, AL; two sisters, Betty Flakes of Salem, AL and Sherry C. Roberson of Smith Station, AL; one brother, Jimmy (Arletta) Cochran of Smith Station, AL; cousin as a brother, Gil McGhee of Salem, AL; mother-in-law, Doris (Reverend Alonzo) Harris of Salem, AL; one brother-in-law, Keith Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
