A Time to be born: Goldie Earl Ross Jr. (Uncle Bish) was born on June 26, 1936 in Whigham, Georgia to the late Goldie Ross Sr. and Mittie Copper Ross.
A Time to Live: Goldie received his basic education from public schools of Whigham, Georgia. He later moved to Fort Pierce, Florida with his parents at a young age. He worked most of his life as a Waste Management Collector and truck driver for St Lucie County Waste Services.
A Time to leave: On August 28, 2024, the Angel of the Lord call Goldie’s name, and he answered the call from his Heavenly Father. He proceeded in death by his mother, Mittie Ross, Father, Goldie Ross, Sr (Annie Ross), brothers, Oscar Ross, James Edward Elijah, sisters: Mary Alice Ross, Odell Bell, Julia Phillips, Eula McDonald and daughter, Linda Fay Ross.
He left behind to cherish his memories wife, Patricia Bradley-Ross, daughter, Mitty Jones, ( Lorenzo Jones), sons, Fred Ross and Ricky Ross, nephews, Arnold ( Betty) Phillips, Walter ( Christine) Phillips, Howard Leon Hall, Arthur Ross, and James Ross, nieces, Valieree ( Paul) Johnson, Martha Phillips and Debbie Hall, step-children, Margaret Angela ( Reginal)Vickers, Ramona Bradley and Ervin Carswell, grands, Antonio, Iesha , Gerald, Cynthia, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends who will truly miss him dearly.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Sarah’s Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Final arrangements are entrusted to Sarah’s Memorial Chapel, 728 Avenue, Fort Pierce, Florida, 34948.
