Archie Moore, 86, passed on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at New Central Baptist Church located at 1702 24th St, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Jeffery Dancey, pastor, officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Public viewing at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on the day of service.

Archie B. Moore, Sr. was born on October 27, 1937 to the late Willie James Moore, Sr. and the late Murdell Hogan.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Catherine Jackson, Mary Ann Hall, Atheoline Jones; one brother, Delondo Moore; deceased children, Archie B. Moore,
Jr., Freddie Moore, Cathy Chaney, and one granddaughter, LataviaMoore.
He leaves behind to mourn him in passing: his wife,
Lillian Jeanette Pearson Turnipseed Moore; He is survived through his children: Nikki O. Moore, Steven (Warren) Moore, Ronnie Gene (Geno), one daughter Penny Davis; stepchildren, Priscilla Turnipseed and
Rosa D.T. Stickney; several grands and great grands; siblings, Ida Mae Smoot of Locust Grove, Ga, Clydie Faye Farmer of Douglasville, Ga, Willie James Moore Jr. (Sharon) of Charleston, SC and Eddie B Moore (Linda) of Columbus, Ga.
