Richard Michael Keegan, 73, of Newport, beloved husband of Katherine, died Thursday, September 12, 2024 at his home.

The family will receive friends in the Atrium of St. Paul Catholic Church 12:00 PM, Friday, September 20, 2024.

His funeral Mass will be 1:00 PM Friday September 20, 2024 at St. Paul Catholic Church 3005 Country Club Rd. New Bern. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

He was a retired Electrician from Local Union #3 I. B. E. W in New York City. He was respected and revered by all his co-workers.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Grace De Filippo Keegan and his sister Judie Farrington.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Dolan Keegan of the home; one brother James “Jim” Keegan of Bronx, NY; one sister, Veronica “Ronnie” Colone of Connecticut.
