Melvin G. James, Sr. Nashville, TN Melvin G. James, Sr., PFC Marine WWII Veteran, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2016 at the age of 92. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Thelma; faithful children, Marilyn (Victor) Stell, Angela (Marvin) Hall, Melvin Jr. (Janet) James, and Rhokesha James; grandchildren, Jowan Sr.(Shatasha) James, Nicholas and Alexander James; great-grandchildren, Keyshawndra, Brittany, Alexis, Jaelen, Jowan II, Isaiah , Chanel, Aza and Abigail, sisters-in-law, Floretta Pulliam and Louise James; devoted nephews, nieces and friends. Viewing will be Thursday, September 22, 2016, 12 to 6pm at Terrell Broady Funeral Home, 3855 Clarksville Pike. Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2016, 10-11 with funeral to follow at True Way Church, 2715 Clarksville Hwy, Bishop Henry Davenport officiating. Resting place is Woodlawn Cemetery.
