Robertson family, hold on to the good memories, the fun things that you shared. Remember that holding of the hands, when he taught you how to drive, smiled that proud smile when you graduated high school and college. Know that he loved you all and he knew you loved him. May God bless you and keep you. Love you, Darla Whitaker

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dear loved one. Please accept my condolences at this painful time. Losing a loved one is distressing and as comfort is needed from family and friends, it is my hope your family will find comforting the promise at Isaiah 25:8 where we are assured that 'death will be swallowed up forever.' It is my hope your family will find strength to endure during the days ahead.

To the Robertson Family Please allow me to take this time to express my personal condolences to the entire family. We are sorry to hear about the passing of Gene Robertson. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Although it may seem that death has robbed us of another family member or friend; that is far from the truth. God knows that death is our enemy. ( 1 Corinthians 15:26) Yet He has revealed this wonderful promise that assures all that our love ones will stand up in life again. From the scriptures God tells us that the hour is coming when the dead will hear instructions to stand up in life again.( John 5:28-29) Really the text is clear. God is giving us His personal guarantee that Gene Robertson and billions of others will have their lives restored back to them. The question that confronts us is do we have strong faith in this promise? Yes do we believe that the dead can live again? If its weak, then we can build it up. This can be done by reading the nine accounts in the bible that speaks about the future resurrection blessings. Here is just one account that can provide true comfort for all grieving families. It is recorded at Acts 9:36-42. May we encourage all to give consideration to the loving help that the verses provide. There is no doubt that you miss Gene Robertson very much. But just think, soon he will be reunited back among the many family members and friends. Yes keep this promise of God in your hearts all the time. Remember that whenever God makes a promise it becomes a reality. For God does not lie.(Titus 1:2)
