To the Lyons Family I would like to take this time to express my condolences to the entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this great hour of sadness. Yes we truly understand however you feel. There is not one person that has not lost someone in death. Since we are all a part of God's earthly family, today when you grieve, we will all grieve together. The days are just ahead when we will also rejoice together. This will be possible because of the future resurrection arrangement that God makes known to all families of the earth. No the promise is not a secret made known to only a select few. God wants everyone to have knowledge of this wonderful provision. So form the scriptures He tells us that He would call to those in the graves to come out; yes to stand up in life again.(John 5:28-29) Just from this one text alone, God is giving us His personal guarantee that our departed love ones will stand up in life again. Are these not comforting words to hear. God also understands that there are those who would have doubts that such a arrangement will take place. They ask, how is it possible for someone to live again? Really their question is valid, since the human family has been dying for a long period of time. So to help all to have strong faith in this wonderful promise from God, our Creator has preserved nine accounts that helps us to develop strong faith in this promise from God. Here is just one such example recorded at Acts 9:36-42. Why not consider the verses and allow them to provide your family and all others with true comfort. Please keep this promise of God near your hear all the time. Remember that whenever God makes a promise, it indeed become a reality. For God does not lie.(Titus 1:2)
