To the Smith Family We are truly sadden to hear about the passing of Tanika Smith. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of great sadness. We share your pain and suffering in the sense that there in not one person that has not lost someone in death. So today, when you grieve, we will all grieve together. I know that the many family members and friends will be there with much love and comforted. When losing someone, we will need true comfort. We must not forget about the comfort that God will provide. The bible clearly shows that our Creator is the source of tender love and comfort.(2 Corinthians 1:3-4) Today His comfort will be revealed to the Smith family. God knows that many had a special relationship with Tanika. You have spent years building up a special relationship with her. Then as if in one day she is gone. Now we are left with fond memories that you enjoyed together. The memories you will indeed treasure. But in all fairness, you rather have Tanika back alive again. Those heartfelt expression are normal. In fact, this is what God also wants for us. He has a longing or yearning to restore that person life back to them.(Job 14:13-15) So we should not be surprised at the following promise that He makes to all families who have lost someone in death. God states that the time is near at hand when He will call to those in the graves to come out; yes to stand up in life again.(John 5:28-29) From the scriptures of John, God is giving us His personal guarantee that our departed love ones will live again. Yes He understands that many would have doubts that this arrangement would take place. So to strengthen their faith, He has preserved at least nine accounts in the bible that speaks about this wonderful blessing that would take place worldwide.
