I was sorry to see Randy's passing in the paper. I remember him from high school as always having a big smile and being a good athlete in basketball and football. We took many basketball bus rides to away games in 69-70 with Clyde and crew, a thousand years ago. May God comfort you all and give you peace during this time of loss and grief.

To the Lane Family We are truly sadden to hear about the passing of Randy Cornell Lane. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as they deal with the lost of their love ones. Everyone knows, that when death strikes at the home of any person, the great hardship that it brings. No ones wants to hear reports about anyone dying. Hearing such reports are only a reminder of how far the human family has fallen from God's original purpose. However the time when come where reports of good news will filled the whole earth. What is the value of this good news? It is that life will be restored back to people instead of being taking away. The good news comes from God. It is found right in the bible. It is not a secret for only special ones to hear. To all God states that He would soon rid the earth of all sicknesses .(Revelation 21:3-4) Just imagine living in a time where no one will ever get sick, grown old and die. But the good news goes even further. God now tells us that He would call to those in the graves to come out; yes to stand up in life again. (John 5:28-29) Here is a personal promise from God that serves as a guarantee that Randy and billions of others from around the world would live again. Our Creator made us to live, not to die. As a loving God He made arrangements to atone for the wrong of Adam. Although some may feel that God has forgotten us, that is far from the truth. Again the scriptures show that He has a desire, or yearning to bring about these wonderful changes; and He will. Now is the time to build up our confidence in this promise by reading all accounts that speaks about the future resurrection blessing. Here is just one account recorded at Luke 7:11-17. Yes draw true comfort from reading the verses. See how the text would apply to Randy and other family members and friends who have died. Yes the resurrection will take place. Keep this promise near your hearts at all time. Remember that God does not lie.(Titus 1:2)
