To the Miller Family We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of Charles Miller. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of great sadness. At this time you have entered a time darkness because of the mourning of a love one. Yet during this same time period, God is assuring all that brightness will surely come your way. How is this possible some may ask. It is because God who is the source of life has given us His personal promise that He would reverse the effects of death upon His earthly family. To all dealing with a lost of a love one or friend, this is what God is telling you. He states that He would raise to life those who have died.(John 5:28-29) This promise is a personal guarantee from God that Charles will live again. Do we not find these words to be a source of comfort. No they are not expressions of empty words. God loves all of us. When we are going through times of grieving for a love one, our emotions do not go unnoticed by God. He is the source of tender love and mercy.( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) So to help us to deal with our lost, He has preserved nine accounts that speaks about this future arrangement. Here is just one such account recorded at John 11:38-44. Please may all take the time to consider the verses. Yes see how the text applies to Charles, as God uses His powers to restore him back to life. Today and in the days to come you will shed many tears. We understand that; you have lost someone special. Yet all can have strong confidences that you will see Charles Miller, and many other departed love ones and friends who have died, base on this loving promise from God. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes a reality. For God does not lie.( Titus 1:2)
