To the Newkirk Family We are truly sorry to hear about the recent passing of Ida Newkirk. Our personal thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Yes we understand the hardship that comes when we lose someone in death. Death is a clear reminder of how far the human family has fallen from God's original purpose. Despite the fall our Creator has not forgotten about us. From the scriptures He tells us about wonderful changes that will soon take place earth wide. Changes that would bring loving blessings to even our departed love ones. Here are just two of the future changes. Today we have lost many love ones to sicknesses of all kind. With the sickness comes death. Now notice this promise that God makes known to us. He tells us that he would soon rid the earth of all sicknesses and death. (Revelation 21:3-4) Just think, the time is just ahead of us when there will not be a reporting of anyone being sick, growing old and dying. Everyday day we will feel great because we will be perfect. Yet here is another promise from God that all should give a listening ear to. God now reveals to us that He would soon call to those who are in the graves to stand up in life again.(John 5:2-29) From this text, can you envision Ida being reunited back with all her family members and friends? Oh what a grand time period this will prove to be, as the whole earth becomes filled with the sound of joy and laughter. These above words are a sure guarantee that our departed love ones will live again. May all of us draw comfort from these promises from God. Yes keep this promise of God near your heart. Remember that when God makes a promise it always becomes a reality. For it is impossible for God to lie.(Titus 1:2)
