Laticia Gwenette Brooks was born November 16, 1967 to the late Robert Louis and Mary Louise Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Brooks, Jr. and her sisters, Cheryl Sparrow, Lessie Samuel, Mamie Bryant, Linda Maxwell and Dorothy Thomas.

Laticia graduated from Central High School and worked with the State of Georgia before becoming disabled. She was known for her funny personality by all who met her and loved her. She had a beautiful spirit.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Iesha Brooks of Tallahassee, FL and her son, Davonta Brooks of Boston, GA; her four grandsons, Jace Brooks, Bryce Brooks, Wyatt Brooks and Glee Brooks; her four loving sisters, Christine Brooks of Thomasville, GA, Judy Brooks of Thomasville, GA, Cynthia Brooks of Atlanta, GA and Sonja Pitman of Boston, GA; and a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will surely miss her.

Home going services will be Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 3PM at the Stevens-McGhee chapel. Visit this website to view a livestream of the service.
