Miss Latonia Washington was born on November 5, 1973 in Lowndes, County. She attended former school in Valdosta, GA. When Latonia departed this life on September 2, 2024, she lived in Hahira, GA with her parents. Latonia was loving, caring, enjoyed laughing, and having a good time with family and friends. She was passionate about music and fashion. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching television. Her favorite show was Wheel of Fortune. She also enjoyed browsing and looking at different pictures in books. She was a lover of life!

To carry on her memories, she leaves behind her parents, Ozell and Clementine Washington, uncles; Clarence Yearby (Deloris) and James Miley, aunts; Mattie Washington, Ruby Mae Washington, Mary Hunter, Mildred Head (Kenneth); and many special cousins. Latonia was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, uncles, James Miley, Sr., James W. Miley, Sr., Sylvester Miley, Willie Miley, Jr., John Washington (Shirley), Ira Washington, George Washington (Carrie), Nathaniel Washington; Arthur Washington (Willie Mae); aunts; Geraldine Baker, Eula Bentley, Sarah Miley, Lottie Fulton, Martha Inman, Georgia Belle Washington, and Lilly Jones, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services were Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Providence Church in Hahira, Georgia with Pastor Marcus Haynes officiating. Burial followed at the Salem Church Cemetery in Barney, Georgia.
