Dequavious Dezantrell Hopper, 17, of Lawndale, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. He was born in Rutherford County, NC, on September 25, 2006, to Bernadell Ross and Dennis Hopper.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Hope Community Church, 312 East Stagecoach Trail, Lawndale, NC, at 2:00 p.m. The reception of family and friends will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Philadelphia United Methodist Church. The family will be receiving family and friends at 3507 Weatherly Street, Shelby, NC from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. daily. Donations can be made directly to his mother, Bernardell Ross or to Enloe Mortuary.
