Mrs. Dotty Delores Robinson, 81, of Albany, Georgia departed this life on September 20, 2024 at Willson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1010 Old Pretoria Road, Albany, Georgia.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Sister Dotty Delores Robinson was the twelfth child of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Williams, and was born on November 3, 1942, in Jakin, Georgia.

She confessed and gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined Live Oak A.M.E. Church in Donalsonville, Georgia.

Once she finished and graduated high school in the Seminole County school system, she moved to The Bronx, New York, and worked diligently until she met the love of her life Robert Robinson in 1964. The two dated for several years until they decided to say, “I DO.” Then, in 1967, they were joined together in holy matrimony and they have been together sixty years, loving each other unconditionally.

She departed from life on September 20, 2024, at the Wilson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Robert Robinson; her two children, daughter, Robin Deloris Robinson, and son Robert Robinson II; her three grandchildren, Amber J. Robinson, Jontejay Z. “TJ” Robinson, and Kaia B. Robinson; her last three living sisters, Jeantte Godwin, Alean McDonald, and Diann Howard (Edward); and a host of nieces, nephews, foster children, foster grandchildren, and other sorrowing family members and friends.
