On Friday, September 20, 2024, Christine Holland, 73, of Callands, VA transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life at Mulberry Creek Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born to the late Helena Worrell on October 31, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY.

In addition to her mother, Christine was preceded in death by one sister, Theresa Worrell, and one brother, Cecil Worrell.

Christine was of the Catholic faith and retired from Hampco Apparel after many years of service.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her husband, James Edward Holland of Callands, VA; one daughter, Monique K. Estes (Marco) of Martinsville, VA; three sons, Edward Worrell, James Rondell Worrell and Stephen D. Holland (Karrie) all of Martinsville, VA; seven grandchildren, Malik Holland, Marquise Estes, Makayla Estes, Deeaviyane, Jasmine, Ziyana, and Stephen Holland, Jr.; and a host of other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville, VA. The interment will be private.
