David Rice Jr.,80, of Washington, DC transitioned from this life into eternal rest on September 14, 2024.

Family and friends will gather for visitation 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Union Wesley AME Zion Church, 1860 Michigan Avenue NE, Washington DC 20018. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM.

The interment will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Rice; four children, Denise Jones, Dionne Ratliff, Michelle Rice Dove (Victor), David Rice (Jakeila); eight grandchildren;brother, Eddie Brooks; sisters, Valerie Austin, Denise Warren; mother-in-law, Carrie Grose.
