Ricky Lamar Taylor, 61, a native of Arapahoe passed Sunday, September 22, 2024 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 26, 2024, 5:30 - 6:30 PM at Oscar’s Memorial Chapel.

Ricky’s service is 11:00 AM, Friday, September 27, 2024 at Small’s Chapel Christian Church. The interment will follow at Holloway Cemetery with Military Honors.

He is survived by his wife, Demetricia M. Taylor of Grover, NC; one son, Adararius Jerveze Taylor, Shelby, NC; one grandson; his siblings, Gayla Smith, Raleigh, Marion T. Keyes-Gibbs, Arapahoe brother, Kerry Taylor, New Bern, children of the heart, Jasmine Hopper and Jermale Hopper.
