Daniel Weston Gatewood was ushered into this world on June 27, 1935, and on a beautiful fall day, he peacefully departed this life on September 23, 2024, at the Rockingham Hospice Haven. He was born to the late Daniel Webster & Hattie Grace Gatewood.

Daniel graduated from McRae Colored High School in 1953 in Morven, NC. He then went on to graduate from The Tri-County Bible College and Seminary with an Associate degree in Theology in 1999 and a Bachelor’s degree in theology from the same school.
