Jeanne Lynn Tamez, 76, died at her home in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Jeanne was born to Elvin David Christ and Mavis Haun Rozell, on September 25, 1947, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jeanne loved hunting, fishing, and camping; anything to do with the outdoors, and of course her casino trips, she always enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Time with the family is something she truly valued. She was a member of the Pink Lady’s at Sierra Vista Hospital.

Jeanne was the “Boss”. She will be truly missed by all those who knew her.

Survivors include her children - Keri L. Knapic and Keli L. Knapic; grandchildren - Anthony Tamez (Leanne), Branden Trujillo (Crystal), Jeneva Trujillo (Justin), and Vanessa Abeyta (Samuel); and siblings - David Christ and Teri Copsin (Bob). Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin D. and Mavis Christ; and her loving husband, Abel “Bob” Tamez.
