Sharon Luckerson, 60, passed on September 26, 2024 in Auburn, AL.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 4434 Sarndfort Rd, Seale, AL 36875 Rev. Michael Burton, pastor, officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing is 3:00-5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, October 4, 2024.

Ms. Sharon Ruth Luckerson was born on April 26, 1964 in Russell County, Alabama. She is the daughter of the late William and Bessie (Sanders) Luckerson. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where she served diligently on the Culinary committee.

She graduated from Chavala High School in 1982 where she participated in JROTC and was a member of the Band. She was formerly employed at Wal-mart Supercenter, Phenix City, Alabama. Where she was a dedicated employee for over 10 years.

Ms. Sharon Luckerson was a woman with a friendly spirit who never met a stranger. Her infectious smile and laugh warmed hearts. The motherly love and wisdom she provided for her friends,family, and extended family will be sorely missed.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, crosswords puzzles, fishing, cookouts and listening to music.

A seed was planted by God and grew into a beautiful rose that touched many lives. On Thursday, September 26, 2024, Sharon departed from this earthly life to enter eternal rest. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Nora Ryles, Chris Luckerson, Vickie Luckerson and one brother, Albert Luckerson.

Ms. Sharon leaves to cherish her life and memories: her loving daughters, Ashley Wright, Alexus Wright and Brittany Wright; two brothers, William (Shirley) Luckerson of Montgomery, Al; Dan Luckerson of Ft. Mitchell, Al; four sisters, Patricia Luckerson of Seale, Al; Nadine (Jimmy) Buford of Phenix City, AL; Naomi (Michael) Davis of Smith Station, AL; and Clarissa (Stanley) Stoutamire of Birmingham, AL; devoted nieces and nephews, Kevin Luckerson, Victor Luckeron, Michael Davis Jr., Stanley Stoutamire Jr., Stephanie James, Empress Ryles, Amatullah Davis, and Madison Jones; three great nephews, Trenton and William Ryles; Ky’Mani Reed; one great niece Kenci Leek; and a host cousins, relatives, friends and sons and daughters in love.
