Peggie Lee Fisher Godette 78, a native of the Harlowe Community, of Havelock, passed Sunday, September 29, 2024, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Her funeral service is 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Piney Grove AME Zion Church,1430 Temples Point Rd., Havelock. The interment will follow at the Godette Cemetery.

Public viewing is Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday, October 7, 2024 at the mortuary. Viewing at the church is one hour before the service ONLY.

Peggie is survived by her daughter, Fettie Denise Murray (Julius); sons, Michael Godette (Shanda) Lawrence Godette all of Havelock; stepson, Frederick Washington (Debra) Newport; brothers, Luful Fisher (Denise) Ohio, Darrell Fisher (Dorea) Havelock; sisters, Stella Fisher, Havelock, Alvania, Beaufort; seven grandchildren and great grandchildren.
