Bobby W. Jackson, aged 82, passed away on September 26, 2024, in Lancaster, SC. Born in Lancaster on May 22, 1942, to Willie and Estelle Jackson, Bobby dedicated 45 years as a loom mechanic at Springs Industries.

A reserved yet loving figure, Bobby served with distinction in the Army Reserve, embodying the values of dedication and service. He is fondly remembered for his quiet strength and his deep devotion to his family.

Bobby leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Dixie Brannen Jackson, and his daughters, Julie B. Jackson and Gloria D. Reid. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Archie L. Jackson, and his sister Bertha Jackson Underwood.

In keeping with Bobby's wishes, no memorial services will be held. Those who wish to honor his memory may make contributions to Agape Home Care & Hospice, an organization close to his heart.
