Everson Marquez Barnes

09/06/1984 - 09/30/2024

Everson Marquez Barnes “Boot” was born September 6, 1984, in Valdosta, Georgia. He was educated in the Valdosta City School System and raised by two loving parents, Elizabeth S. Lacey and Henry Barnes, Sr. Everson was very funny, enjoyed dancing, football, telling jokes and always smiling. He was free-spirited and lived life unapologetically.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Jaylon Jenkins and two daughters, Senyah Green and Arielle Barnes. Everson loved his son and two daughters and wanted the best for them in life. He longed to spend more time with them. Even though Everson is no longer physically here, this quote exemplifies his love for his children. “There is no expiration date on the love between a father and his child.”

He leaves to cherish his memories three brothers, Henry Barnes, Jr. (Eliza) of Lake Park, Georgia, Dr. Sirocus Barnes of Atlanta, Georgia and Lloyd Cummings (Brittany) of Valdosta, Georgia; three sisters, Lakeshia Barnes Hopkins, Tywanna Thomas and Tina McElroy (Tearon) all of Valdosta, Georgia; four nieces, Tierra Price, Star Barnes, Angel Barnes and Skyy Barnes; two nephews, Trevaris Barnes and Hendrix Barnes; one great niece, Tianna Price; special friend, Kenya Perry; family members, Daniel and Kathy Cummings; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
