Dr. Carolyn Ryals, of Tallahassee, FL passed away, Tuesday, September 17, 2024. A graveside services was held at 2 PM, Wednesday, September 25. Reverend Dr. R. B. Holmes officiated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

She is survived by her daughter, Tonya A.Darnell; granddaughters, Annicia J. Woods and Whitney N. Woods; great-granddaughter, Aubri N. Thomas, all Suffolk, VA; sister, Jannette M. Washington of Tallahassee, FL; nieces, Shevalia D. Scurry, Tallahassee, FL and Halima A. Scurry, Jacksonville, FL; nephew, James Garvin & Lana (wife) and daughter, Nicole, of Largo, MD; son, Eddie W. Ryals, Jr. (Denise) Corpus Christi, TX; grandson, Antwan Ryals great-grandson, Aris Ryals, of Tampa, FL, grandson- Dominique Ryals (Madison) and great-grandsons, Westyn and Amias Ryals (Dallas, TX); godson, Howard Conoly (Shakur) and daughters, of Atlanta, GA and host of other relatives and friends.
