GRAND COTEAU – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA for Mrs. Barbara Julien, 66, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at her residence in Sunset, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Fr. Mark Kramer, S.J. will be celebrate the mass.

Mrs. Julien’s memories are being cherished by: her devoted husband, Willis Julien of Sunset, LA; one daughter, Martha Julien Vallaire (Joshua) of Sunset, LA; two brothers, Leroy (Loubertha) Robert and Alex Robert, both of Arnaudville, LA; two sisters, Lillian Etienne of Cecilia, LA and Ivy Robert of Washington, LA; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, John and Lillie Joubert Robert; one son, Willis Julien, Jr.; two brothers, John Allen Robert and Leon Robert; and four sisters, Fannie Comeaux, Theresa Julien, Mary Robert and Mary Goodly.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA. A rosary will be recited at 9:15 a.m.
