SHAWN M. JENKINS, son of the late Joanella Jenkins Morrison, was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

He was a graduate of Harrisburg High School class of 1992. He was currently working at AAA Central Penn in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Shawn was a family man. In his leisure time, he enjoyed reading, buying books to build his library, composting, vermiculture, walking, nature and learning new things.

Shawn M. Jenkins, at the age of 50 years, entered into eternal life on Monday, September 23, 2024 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

He leaves to celebrate his life, his life-long love, his wife of 31 years, Tiffany Barksdale, as well as his six children, Shauniqua Barksdale, Que' Shawn Jenkins-Barksdale, Jaqui Jenkins, Amiq Jenkins, Janah Jenkins and Soriah Jenkins, all of Harrisburg, PA. He is also survived by his brothers, Nathan Jenkins, Zar Finley and Rob Finley; his beloved sisters, Sorrell Jenkins, Leah Finley and Iennedra Finley; also he leaves to cherish precious memories of him, one grandson, Ashaun Howzie and his unborn grandchild as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and longtime friends.

Shawn's life will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Friday, October 11, 2024 in the Chapel of the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12 Noon.
