David Bradley Brem, 63, a resident of T. or C., went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 3, 2024, after a gallant fight against cancer. He was born on October 21, 1960 in Ft. Worth, TX to Bobby Bruce Brem and Thelma Louise (Hill) Brem. David was employed with FNF Construction in Santa Fe, Chino Mine in Silver City and Hamiton Construction in Odessa, TX. David loved God. He was a down to earth man, loyal, and always the life of the party. He loved football, especially his Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, camping, fishing and quiet evenings in his man cave playing pool and dice with friends. He loved collecting classic cars and spent many happy times riding the Harley Davidson’s he owned. David would get his friends and their ol’ ladies together for what he called “wind therapy”- he loved endless rides on his motorcycle. He was a truly wonderful man who always lightened up a room with his humor and love for those around him. He was a loyal brother, uncle, cousin, father and friend.

Survivors include his life partner, Sandra Lassiter, of T. or C., NM; children – Bobby Dannels from Poway, CA and Floyd “Red” Dannels of Ventura, CA; grandchildren – Cade Dannels, Grahm Dannels, Cristina Dannels, Melissa Dannels, and Jonathan Dannels; siblings –Joseph L. Brem (Kathleen), Jimmy Don Brem, James Bruce Brem (Kim), Ellen Newbrough, David Brem Sr. (Blanca), and Nils Stansen (Jessica); and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Louise Brem; father, Bobby Bruce Brem; and siblings – Baby Bobby Brem, William Franklin Brem, Richard Lee Newbrough, and Nils Floyd Stansen.

The family would like to thank everyone for the care and compassion given to David in his last days.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Vista Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Brem officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Bobby Dannels, Floyd (Red) Dannels, Major Nils David Stansen, David Brem Sr., Boyd Oldfield, and Wild Man. Honorary casket bearers will be Joseph Brem and David Oldfield.
