Shirley Kirk

Shirley Kirk, 68, of Oak Ridge, TN, made her transition from this Earth, October 11, 2024. She is preceded in death by her mother, Fannie Ball; father, Otis “HoneyKirk” Kirk; stepfather, Hammit Ray Ball; and brother, Otis Taylor.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, LaKissha Kirk; brother, Timothy (Joann) Kirk; sisters: Betty Jude and Elaine Taylor; and stepsister, Beatrice Ward; a host of other relatives and friends.

Her Homegoing Celebration will be Friday, October 18th, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, TN. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with the Celebration of Life service beginning at 12 p.m. The final resting place will follow the service at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. A dove release will conclude in her honor.
