The youngest son of 10 siblings, Garell “Butch” White was born February 19, 1962, in Houston County to the late parentage of Nathaniel A. and Mattie E. Jones White Sr.

He was educated in the Houston County Public School System, graduating from Warner Robins High School Class of 1981.

Butch had GREAT work ethics & feel in love with building roads and bridges. He worked for Plateau Excavation of Austell, GA until his health fell. Butch loved working, fishing, helping others, and being the life of the party. He brought joy to anyone he encountered.

On December 15, 1987, he married the love of his life, Teresa Lynn Jackson.

Butch was proceeded in death by two brothers, Vernon White and Nathaniel White Jr. and a special Uncle Luke Jackson Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife of 37 years, Teresa Lynn White, Son-like great nephew Jaquez Carswell; Six sisters, Wilma Reeves, Bobbie J. Harris, Caroline Hicks, Vivian Rivers, Lavon (Ronald) Smith, and Joann White. One Brother Zaczanzcy White. Two aunts, Maie (Donald) King, and Dorothy (Dexter) Ferguson. Two uncles, Jimmie Jackson, and James (Rochelle) King. One Brother-in love, Melvin Jackson. Four Sisters-in love, Felicia Rodgers, Pamela White, Dollie Amica, and Tonya Holland. Special nieces Mallory Jackson and Tomeka Nichols. Special Friend-Brothers Dana Burns and Timothy Jackson, and a host of relatives and friends who were all dear to his heart.
