Funeral service for Rodney Little, 65, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 28, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ashdale Cemetery, Ashdale Road, Tuskegee, AL, 36083, Dr. Gregory S. Gray will officiate.

Mr. Little, who passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born March 14, 1959 in Washington D.C.

Public viewing will be Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Verna Little of Opelika, AL; two children, Chakira (Lionel) Galloway of Birmingham, AL and Shaniqua Little of Montgomery, AL; a special granddaughter who he loved dearly, Rylee Little of Montgomery, AL; three sisters, Joycelan Little, Anita Alexander and Jacquelyn Douglas all of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Fred (Gloria) Bates of Tuscumbia, AL; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Reynolds of Tuskegee, AL and Janice (Jimmie) Richardson of Montgomery, AL; one niece, Pamela Sund of Baton Rouge, LA; five nephews, Eddie (Hazel) Smith III of Los Angeles, CA, Wesley Little, Xavier Langham both of Huntsville, AL, Sidney Little of Commerce City, CO and Emmanuel Douglas IV of Louisville, KY; a host of other relatives and friends.
