Mr. David Phillip Norris

David Phillip Norris began his life on April 27, 1970, in High Point, North Carolina, and passed away on October 25, 2024, at Thomasville Hospital. He was the son of David Norris from Washington, D.C., and Carolyn Norris Flowers from Thomasville, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, James (Pop) Flowers.

David graduated from Irvington High School in Irvington, New Jersey. He was a member of Williams Memorial CME Church, a place that held great significance in his life. It was there, under Pastor Robert J. Williams's guidance, that David experienced a profound moment in his spiritual journey- his baptism. This symbolized a key turning point reflecting his commitment to his faith and his connection to the church.

David leaves behind to cherish his memories: his mother, Carolyn Flowers, of the home; his brother, Kenneth Norris (Jen) from Minnesota; his aunt, Rosemary Davis (Ralf), who was like a second mother to him, from Roxboro, NC; two uncles, Johnnie Murphy (Bobbie) of Chicago, IL, and Phillip Murphy of High Point, NC; one niece, Kenya Dix (Reggie) from Florida; one nephew, Kaion from Minnesota; special friend, Kathy Williamson from Atlanta, GA., and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, November 4, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial C.M.E. Church. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
