Patricia Ann Maxwell Dean

Patricia Ann Maxwell Dean affectionately known as “Ms. Pat” was born on March 24, 1945, to James E. Maxwell Sr., Carrie Maxwell Woodfin. Patricia peacefully took the hand of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 26, 2024.

Patricia was rooted in the Word of God and a member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church under the late Reverend Robert N. McGhee and stayed faithful under the present Pastor Jospeh Tolbert, Sr.

Patricia was preceded in death by her adoring husband of fifty plus years, Malachi Dean; her parents James Maxwell, Sr. and Carrie Maxwell Woodfin and Brother, James E. Maxwell, Jr. Father/Mother-in-law; Willie & Ossie Davis Dean, Sister-in-law, Pauline “Tilly” Johnson; and brother-in law, Paul Dean.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories Daughters: LeJuana (Kenneth) Washington, [Charlotte, NC,] Yolanda Dean, [Los Angeles, California] and Gretchen (Orlando) Walls, [Nashville, TN]. Son: William Brooks (Jama) Dean, [Knoxville, TN], Six Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren; a host of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friend Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 12-1:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Foster Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Joseph Tolbert officiating.

The final resting place will be held at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

A dove release will conclude in her honor.
