Judy B. Hawkins, aged 68, passed away at her home in Bowie, TX, on Monday, October 28th, 2024.
Family visitation will be Thursday October 31st, from 6 to 8pm at the White Family Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 10am Friday November 1st, at House of Prayer in Stoneburg, TX.
Graveside services will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.
Born on February 18, 1956, Judy was known for her outspoken, compassionate, and candid nature, traits that endeared her to many throughout her life.
Judy was actively involved in her community and her church, the House of Prayer in Stoneburg, TX. She dedicated much of her time to volunteering at the local community center with her friend Bonnie, finding joy in giving back to others. Judy's hobbies included watching her grandchildren play sports, playing games on her phone, and enjoying the holidays surrounded by her family, especially when all her children were present.
She is preceded in death by her mother Martha Walker, her brothers Rickie and Travis Moore, her sister Debbie Miser, her son Cody Hawkins, and her stepson Derrick Fatheree.
Judy leaves behind a loving family, including her husband Garey Fatheree; her brother Leroy Moore; her children Becky Hawkins and fiancé Tom, Chasity Shear and husband Doug, David Pierce and wife Rhonda, Amanda Cansler and husband Joe, Laci Hawkins and fiancé Colton, and Trey Pennington. She was a proud stepmother to Gary Fatheree and wife Carol, James Fatheree, Danny Fatheree and wife Meagan, Allie Fatheree, and Devin Fatheree. Judy cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother to her grandchildren Cynthia, Bethany, Dakota, Destiny, Miranda, Steven, Haley, Dalton, Cameron, Calvin, Brianna, Blake, Keagon, Shanna, Matt, Morgan, Kristen, Pearl, Matthew, Elena, Liliana, Kayla, and 23 great-grandchildren. She was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy's life was marked by her unwavering support for her family and her community, leaving a legacy of love and service that will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
