Diane Gibson of Truth or Consequences, NM was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Diane was born on December 19, 1938, in Indianapolis, IN the only child of Harry and Louise (Casler) Gasper.

She married her husband, Clarence “Bud” Gibson, on October 26, 1960. Diane and Bud were married for 52 years and blessed with two children, Harry and Gina. They moved from Indiana to Nevis, MN in 1971, but later in life moved to T. or C., making it their permanent home.

Anyone who truly knew Diane could see her quick humor and funny antics. She enjoyed an occasional margarita with the girls over lunch and had a soft spot for all God’s furry animals. Her favorite being her guinea pig, Boudreaux. Diane acquired many hairpieces in numerous lengths and colors that she quaintly referred to as her “fun buns”. The laughs never stopped. She will surely be missed by her loving family and friends for years to come.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Gina, and favorite son-in-law, Mark Dorethy, of Nevis, MN; her grandchildren – Scott (Becca) Dorethy and Kayla (Josh) Provo; four great-grandchildren – Tristan and Payton Provo, and Lily and Janey Dorethy, all of Otsego, MN. She had many special friends and a very special family friend she called her “bonus daughter”, Kim (Joel) Tarmann of Nevis, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; and precious son, Harry. Diane had a strong faith in Jesus and is surely in Heaven with our Lord.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the Vista Memory Gardens Cemetery with Chaplain William Farmer officiating.
