When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the Rock That's higher than I, where love and peace unlock A refuge from the storm, a shelter from the pain A place where I can hide, and never be the same Mr. Mayo Ponder, Sr., a soul so dear and true Has made his transition, to a place anew At 63 years young, his journey here is done But his legacy lives on, forever won Lead him to the Rock, that's higher than us all Where love and joy entwine, and never will fall A place of eternal peace, where hearts are made whole Where Mr. Ponder's spirit, will forever unfold May your heart be comforted, may your soul be at peace as you celebrate the life, of this dear one's release May the Rock that's higher, be your guiding light as you navigate the darkness, and emerge into His sight.

Mr. Mayo Ponder, Sr. 63 of Naylor, Georgia was born on October 18, 1961, and passed from this walk of life on November 1, 2024.

The Ponder Family will gather with extended family and friends to say goodbye Mr. Mayo Ponder, they invite you to join them for a celebration of his life on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Southside Baptist Church, Lakeland, GA. Following the services, he will be laid to rest with love and care at North End Cemetery.
