Mr. James N. Ginn Jr., born September 8, 1958. He was the oldest son of the late James Ginn Sr., and Ethel Ginn of St. Augustine, Florida. James attended the local schools in St. Johns County, receiving a certificate of completion from Yates School for Special Needs. During James’s years of school, he was an avid participant in the local Special Olympics, where he won and received several medals. James was a faithful member of North City Baptist Church where he received Christ as his Lord and Savior. James received and answered the calling of Our Heavenly Father Saturday, November 2, 2024, at UF Health Flagler Hospital.
He was proceeded in death by his father, James N. Ginn Sr., his paternal grandparents, Nathaniel and Kate Ginn, maternal grandparents, Earlis Wright and Ruthie L. Minson, uncles, Carl Ginn, Perry Ginn Sr., Tommy L. Robinson, and Robert L. Carter, aunts, Sadie M. Wilkerson, Annette G. Harden and Thetta E. Smith
James leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Ethel Ginn of St. Augustine, sister, Casetta (Booker) Crockett of St. Louis, Missouri, brothers, Dwayne Ginn Sr.,(Mary), Tony Ginn Sr., (Beverly) and Larry Ginn all of St. Augustine, aunts, Margaret Ginn, Maryland, Vera Ginn, Ft. Lauderdale, Freddie M. Walker, Vickey Carter, Eva Miller, Barbara Robinson, and Wanda Bargeman, uncles, Charlie Johnson, a very special and dear young man, more like a son, Tomas Ciela, and the family of Carrie L. Sparrow, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends and the community 5-6 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2024, @ North City Baptist Church, 15 Bernard Street, St. Augustine, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2024, @ North City Baptist Church.
