Sara Hird, 62, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on Oct. 31, 2024. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., Nov. 8, 2024 at Bethel C.M.E. Church. Services will be held 12:00pm on Sat., Nov. 9, 2024 at Bethel C.M.E. Church. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.

She is preceded in death by her father, Willie J. Butler Jr.; brothers, Todd Butler and Curtis Butler Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Temeka Waddell, Renita Harvey, Christina Brown, Jelisa Hird; mother, Carrie Mae Butler; sister, Alicia Miller (Fred) and Emma Patterson; brother, Willie Butler III and Thomas Arnold; bonus children, Cherise Gibb, William Hird Jr, Antwon Faison, LaTasha Faison, Dawaun Faison; 9 plus many bonus grandchildren; 2 plus 4 bonus great grandchildren; her dog Bella, and Aaliyah Butler Pace raised since birth; she leaves behind many aunts uncles, nieces nephew, family and friends; her two Special friends: Dondra Walker, Elizabeth Allen.
