It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Belinda Ann Zackery, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Belinda left this world peacefully on Friday, November 8th, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on Friday, November 27th, 1970, in Ashland, Alabama, she spent her formative years in the welcoming embrace of her hometown before establishing her life in Lineville, Alabama.

Belinda regularly attended Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. Belinda was a dedicated employee at New South Sewing, where she worked as a sewer, earning respect and admiration from peers and colleagues alike for her commitment and skill. Her educational journey took her through Lineville High School, where she built lifelong friendships and established a foundation for the life of love and dedication she would lead.

A soul full of life and warmth, Belinda had a passion for fishing, dancing, and playing gospel music, activities that brought joy not only to her own life but to those lucky enough to partake in them with her. Her love for gospel music was especially close to her heart, serving as a source of comfort and joy.

Belinda will be deeply missed by her sons, Derrick Zachery and Jonathan Wycoff of Lineville, AL, who were the pride and joy of her life. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Carolyn Hardy, Connie (Richard) Thomas, Beverly (Alonzo) Lindsey, and Sharetta Zackery, all of Lineville, AL; and her brothers, Curtis (Claudette) Moon, Orenthal (Angela) Moon, Sherman Moon and Sylvester (Sandra) Moon of Goodwater, AL, Eddie Zackery and Jessie (Ashley) Zackery of Lineville, AL. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Melinda and Cordero, who brought immense joy to her later years.

Belinda was preceded in death by her father, John Curtis Moon Sr., mother, Willie Ruth Williamson, and her brothers, John Curtis Moon and Larry Zackery. Their love and guidance were instrumental in shaping the remarkable woman she became.
