Ms. Eunice Jean Patrick, 84, passed Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in Phenix City, AL.
A private service will be held.
Eunice Jean Davis Patrick, affectionately known as "Jean", was born on April 17, 1940 to the late James and Katie Davis. She was the youngest of seven children. All of her siblings, Sallie, Gillie, Catherine, James, Claude, and George proceeded her in death.
Born and raised in Phenix City, AL, she gave her life to Christ at an early age as a member of Phillips Temple CME Church. She later went on to join Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL where she served on the Missionary Board and Hospitality Team.
Eunice attended South Girard High School, then later graduated Alabama State University, obtaining a Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education. She served as a teacher for over two decades and later was an active real estate agent and insurance provider in her community.
She was known for her outstanding entrepreneurship endeavors such as opening the first African American owned and operated Daycare in Phenix City, AL.
Noted to be musically inclined, she served her church for several years as a pianist. Ms. Patrick was also known to have a drive and commitment to mentoring the youth and enjoyed social activities such as swimming and world travel.
During her years of service, she was a member of The Order of the Eastern Stars and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
She leaves to honor her legacy of life, a beloved son, Corey Paige Patrick and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
