Passed 11/07/2024

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Obinna “Obi” Izuchi “Izzy” Onwuzurike, who tragically suddenly left us on November 7, 2024. Obi was the youngest and only son among four siblings. He was a cherished member of our family, who brought immense joy and strength into our lives. Throughout his life, Obi faced numerous challenges, yet he met each one with unwavering determination and resilience, emerging stronger every time. His ability to triumph over adversity was a testament to his character and spirit.

Obi was eagerly looking forward to starting a new chapter in his life with his beautiful fiancée, Chisom Igwe, whom he was set to marry next month. Their love and dreams of building a family together were a source of great happiness and anticipation.

He leaves behind his loving parents, Eugene and Stella Onwuzurike, who cherished him deeply, his devoted sisters, Adanna Onwuzurike, Ahunna Freeman, Akunna Akuruka, his niece and nephews, brother-in-law Scottie Freeman, numerous cousins, uncles, aunties, friends and colleagues - all of whom will forever hold him close in their hearts. Obi's legacy of love, perseverance, and joy will continue to inspire all who knew him. His absence is profoundly felt, but his memory will live on in the heart of those who loved him. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
