Mr. Terry Anthony Cole

Mr. Terry Anthony Cole, son of Clarence and Naomi Cole, was born on February 12, 1965, in Richmond County, North Carolina. He left this world on November 3, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital, California, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Terry attended the public schools of South Carolina. He was self-employed as a mechanic.

As a husband, Terry was loving and supportive. As a father, Terry was a role model, always there to encourage, guide, and protect his children. Terry’s presence brought light into the lives of all who he encountered.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Naomi Cole and two brothers, Robert Cole and Amos Cole.

Terry’s legacy lives on through his devoted wife, Angel Scott Cole, of the home; three daughters, Jessica, Saynighya, and Taylor; one son, Chris Anthony; and four stepchildren: Deana, Jennifer, Kali, and Nathan. Eight grandchildren whom he adored and treasured.

His memory is further honored by his five brothers Apostle Paul Bennett, Jimmy Cole, Elder Perry (Cynthia) Cole, Clarence (Terri) Cole, and Danny (Angie) Cole; three sisters: Pastor Vickie (Hilton) Easterling, Angela (Derrick) Covington, and Donna (Dennis) Ledbetter; two uncles; mother-in-law, Ms. Lottie Scott of the home; a special niece, Tiffany Bennett who was always there for him; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A Memorial service to Honor the Life of a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, role model, and friend will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at Smith's Memorial Chapel (Smith Funeral Home), 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.

The Cole Family will greet family and friends on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 12:30-1:00 pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel.
