Mr. Jerome White, Sr. departed this life on November 19, 2024 in Marianna, Florida. He was born February 25, 1939, to the late Ms. Rhunette Goodin and Mr. Willie Frank White in Dell, Georgia. He accepted Christ as his Savior and received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. He joined First Born Church of the Living God, Marianna, Florida, where he served as a deacon. H recently rededicated his life back to Christ.

He attended Bainbridge High School and received his high school diploma. He was united in holy matrimony to the late Mrs. Betty Ann Speights-White on May 3, 1965.

He leaves to cherish his memories; five children, Sonya White, Algelo White, Durance B. White, Jerome White, Jr. and Linda White; one brother, Mr. Frank Goodin; three sisters, Mrs. Jynell Williams (Rufus), Mr. Charlotte Goodin-Chapman, and Ms. Ann Goodin; four grandchildren, Carrie L. Roberts (Richard), Jermaine McCalister, Epiphany White, and Quron White; three great grandchildren, Jada Roberts, Alexander Roberts, and Destiny McCalister; a cousin who was like a brother, Mr. Brady Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Homegoing Celebration will be Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel, Bishop Steve Collins, Sr. officiating.

Public viewing and visitation will be Sunday November 24, 2024, from 12:00 noon until funeral time at 1:00 PM

Interment will follow in the Orange Hill Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
