He furthered his education with the Electrical Apprenticeship Program at Huntington-Ingalls Shipbuilding, where he worked as a Journeyman Electrician. He united with the Church of the Living God, Temp!e #42, at an ear!y age and began his journey with the gift of a song. Willie had a consuming passion for singing God's Word and shared it with others always and everywhere. The PUGHS were a dynamic ministry; preaching, teaching and singing along with his sister, LaTicha Pugh, the Word of God. Willie readily accepted his call into the ministry and in July, 2013, he was ordained an Elder in the body of the Church of the Living God. He received his first pastoral appointment in July, 2015 and was assigned to Temple #113 in McKenzie, AL.
