Derris Antonio Miller

The Late Legend, Derris Antonio Miller, was born on November 21, 1990, in Adel, Georgia, and was called home on November 18, 2024 in Valdosta, Georgia. Raised in Brooks County, Georgia, Derris graduated from Brooks County High School in the Class of 2009. His love for the outdoors led him to entrepreneurship, where his hard work and dedication allowed his business, Advantage Lawn Care, to thrive and serve his community.

Derris was a man of faith who accepted, knew, and loved the Lord. Above all, he was a devoted father who found immense pride and joy in his children, Olivia and Christian. A true fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Derris also loved good food, spending time with family and friends, and living life to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lois Waldon Williams and Bobby Lee Williams, Sr.; his paternal grandmother, Emma Lou Miller; his uncles, Dempsey Lamar Williams, Bobby Lee Williams, Jr., and James B. Miller; and his aunt, Lucille Miller.

Derris leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by: His Babygirl, Olivia Grace Miller and His Son, Christian Miller, His Loving Parents, Lewanda Michelle Williams, Glenn Miller (Latonya Miller); His Siblings, Shandricka Williams, Ashley Godfrey, Ebony Godfrey, Ronald Deshon Williams, Tarvis M. Williams and Malik Miller. A loving grandfather James Bill Miller. His Aunts, Phyllis D. Williams, Mary Louise Copeland, Everlina Thomas, Victoria Brooks (Robert), Gwen Miller Bivens, Shantina Aikens; Uncles, Phillip Williams, Ferdinand Williams (Stephanie), Timothy Miller (Angelia), James Miller (Octavia), Micheal Townsend (Edwina), Christopher Godfrev, and Lashawn Godfrev; His Best friend, Travoris Belcher; Special Cousin and Mentor, Wesley C. Thomas Ill; His Godfather, Ernest C. Miley; Nieces, Alecia Copeland and Ni'Khya Abney; Nephews: Adrian Williams, Jordan Williams, Ayden Rawls, and Josiah Godfrey; Great Nephew, Kalen Brown. One god daughter Hansleigh Hadley. A host of cousins, friends, and customers who will forever cherish his life and memory.

Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Derris A. Miller will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Morven City Auditorium, Morven, Georgia: Burial: New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
