Mrs. Lizzie Mae Scott, 86, of Hatchechubbee, AL passed Sunday, November 24, 2024 in Hatchechubbee, AL.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at St. Luke A.M.E. Church, 70 St. Luke Road in Hatchechubbee, AL with Rev. Mariam Harlan, pastor, officiating and Rev. David Dawson, eulogist. Burial to follow in Scott Cemetery. Public viewing is 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, December 6, 2024.

Mrs. Lizzie Mae Scott was born September 30, 1938 in Hurtsboro, AL to the late Robert L. Lewis and California Lewis. She passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at her home in Hatchechubbee, AL.

At an early age Mrs. Scott accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and joined Mt.Missouri Baptist Church. She attended Russell County Training School in Hurtsboro, AL. She was married to the late Frazier Scott for over forty-one years and later married the late Johnny Warren, Sr.

She was a dedicated employee of the Bibb Mill Company for over thirty plus years until her retirement.

She was never a stranger. She loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. Lewis, Sr. and California Lewis; three siblings, Johnnie Mae Richardson, Virginia Lewis, and Robert Lewis, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Tyrone Scott, Hatche- chubbee, AL; four sisters, Martha Weldon and Renae (Milton) Clark both of Columbus, GA, Bessie Lee Goode, Hurtsboro, AL and Mary Ann (Claude) Jackson, Atlanta, GA; several brothers and sisters in law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
